At the Wenatchee Children’s Home Society, staff find loving homes
for children through a specialized foster care program that blends the
strengths of highly trained foster parents with skills and support to
provide a therapeutic environment for emotionally and/or behaviorally troubled children. Additionally, the Wenatchee office is a licensed
mental health services provider and contracts with the Chelan-Douglas Regional Support Network to provide counseling, case management, and family support services to children and families in Chelan
and Douglas counties.

Serve Wenatchee Valley represents
a collaborative effort of over 39
churches within the Wenatchee
Valley. Our aim is to be the hands
and heart of Jesus Christ – ministering in very practical ways to people
in need living within our valley. Programs include the provision of food,
non-food items, furniture, children’s clothing, baby furniture, rental and
power bill assistance, recycled bicycles and more.
Under the leadership of Executive Director Bob Shepard our staff and volunteers work in partnership with other community agencies to provide a compassionate, prayerful, non-judgmental atmosphere that communicates the grace and love of Jesus Christ in word and deed. Annual collaborative efforts include: Back-To-School Clothing Giveaways, Thanksgiving meals, Free Dental Day, Apple Blossom “Safety Zones” and All-Valley Worship and prayer events.

Want to win some CASH?? All attendees (18 and over) that attend
the NCHBA Home Show on Friday will have the opportunity to fill out
a special Numerica Credit Union entry form and enter to win $500
CASH. Saturday, the pot starts over at $500 and the entry box is
emptied to start anew. SUNDAY...the entry box will again start empty
BUT the pot goes up to $1000 CASH!
Winners will be drawn each day at the close of the show. You do not need to be present to WIN. One entry will be given to all attendees each day that are 18 and over. Entries MUST be put in the Numerica Credit Union Entry Box located on the North Concourse. No obligation to enter, one entry per day with paid admission. Volunteers, staff and Vendors will not be eligible to win.

There will be additional parking available for attendees across the street at Walla Walla Point Park, both parking lots, as well as at Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse. Many thanks to Lowe’s for generously allowing our Home Show attendees to use half of their parking lot for our event!

year’s Home Show, Saturday and Sunday,

Throughout the three days of the NCHBA Home Show, there will be
hundreds of vendors coming and going, changing shifts, or will be
there all day to say HI to all of you! This is a huge commitment by
these vendors and this year, ACTNOW, Inc. is here to take good care
of them. Not only will there be runners to provide the vendors with a
few break opportunities, ACTNOW, Inc. is providing them with a place
to go and rest quietly and enjoy snacks of all kinds as well as grab
some water, a soda or a coffee to help rejuvenate them!
This is a HUGE part of the show, and one that keeps the vendors in the NCHBA Home Show very happy and well taken care of! Thank you to ACTNOW, Inc. for sponsoring this event! The vendors and volunteers will certainly enjoy it!
Each attendee that comes through the
Show will be given a chance to win some
great give-a-ways. All you have to do
is visit 25 of the 27 booths on the game
card, get them stamped or initialed and
turn it in for your chance to win! GOOD

and volunteers can also be recognized by these
lanyards. All vendors, volunteers and staff must
have their Alcoa lanyard on to get in and out of the Home Show. So if
you have any questions, about the Show or a product on display, look
for someone wearing an Alcoa lanyard! Enjoy the show!
