Return on Industrial Insurance (R.O.I.I.) Programs
Members of the North Central Home Builders Association may qualify to participate in the BIAW Return On Industrial Insurance (R.O.I.I) or "Retro" program. "Retro" is the generic name used to refer to the retrospective programs the State of Washington allows employers to participate in, whereby they can receive substantial refunds on their L&I premiums each year.

Currently approximately 60% of premiums paid to the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries are subject to Retro refunds. In addition to the potential refunds you could realize, the retro program also offers assitance with workers comp. claims and safety program set-up and review.

The BIAW Retro program has become the largest and most well-established retrospective ratings group in the State of Washington. The ROII Program has been around for over 27 years, with over 6,000 companies enrolled and a $180 million dollar premium base and members receiving an average refund of 25% each year!

In addition to the standard R.O.I.I. Program, BIAW offers an incentive-based R.O.I.I. Program called, R.O.I.I. Select, that could potentially yield returns of 45-60% or more. In fact, the average refund for the three years that select has paid out is 61%! This program is designed specifically to serve larger companies with a minimum annual premium base of $40,000 and above, and who meet certain criteria.
