Lindsay Shultz has been working with NCHBA members since 2005 through the Home Show, Tour of Homes and various Association publications! She joined the NCHBA staff as the in-house Events Coordinator in May of 2007, and has since evolved into the Membership & Events Director, overseeing both aspects. Lindsay truly loves her job and has a strong passion for working with people. She excels in staying organized and on point when it comes to producing events, and has a natural understanding of what it means to be a member of the NCHBA.
Before joining the NCHBA's professional staff, Lindsay worked for a local marketing firm, where she honed her skills related to events production and marketing. Additionally, her previous experience includes bookkeeping and management duties, along with enjoying every opportunity to work with customers. Lindsay's favorite part of any job is answering the phone! Lindsay offers this advice related to customer calls, "it is your first contact with who ever is calling and that makes it the most important part of any business! People can and will make a decision about bringing you their business based on how their first contact was with you. Always smile when you answer the phone...the person on the other end can hear it!"
